How The Journey Started
The Church commenced on September 2001, and it was initially named Canaan Church of GOD after being relocated from the foundational Mountain.
Later in 2015, the Church was renamed Living Pilgrims Rehoboth Assembly, and it was also popularly called Chapel of Peace among the worshippers – both insiders and outsiders.
The Church was later moved to its current site in May 2015, and the first programme to hold on the permanent site was a Good Women Special programme amidst faith, joy and expectations of rapid development, depending solely on the Holy Spirit for intervention of a speedy project. Indeed, we were not let down by GOD. HE has been in charge of affairs of the Church till date.
The Church was founded by CHRIST under the instrumentality of the General Overseers, Evangelist Kolawole and Prophetess Folasade Asaolu.

- To Preach the gospel of salvations to all sinners.
- To preach the true words of God to every living soul under the earth both physicaly and electronically.
- To raise a generation of future Godly leaders.
- To unearth the hidden talents of the youths and maximize same for and to the glory of God.
- To encourage the true worship of our creator as stipulated in the holy bible.
- Reaching out to the needies and less privileged in the society.
- Establishement of frequency modulation radio to further spread the gospel.
- To participate actively in the educational development of our youths by establishing institutions of learning across all categories.
- Performance of social responsibilities to further assist the Government.
