Living Pilgrims Rehoboth Assembly: The Grace of GOD is Always Sufficient - Evang. Asaolu
Today, being the first Sunday in year 2025, the Service began at 8am with Opening Prayer led by the General Overseer, Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu. This was followed by the Morning Prayer anchored by the Church Matriarch, Prophetess Folasade Asaolu. During this session, the Minister charged the congregation to praise GOD deeply from their hearts for keeping them through last year 2024 and for making them to see the first Sunday of the year 2025, reminding that it’s the only thing that GOD is requesting from His people.
The only Lesson for the glorious Service which was taken from Psalm 9: 10-20 was read by the General Overseer in Yoruba language, while the English version was read by the Church Secretary, Mr Emmanuel Ogunmodede.
Collection of offerings was coordinated by Deacon Garba Arogundade, during which Special Thanksgivings and testimonies, and Good Women monthly thanksgiving were observed.
Immediately after the above, some members were recognized for their outstanding performances in the previous year and they were rewarded with gifts according to the Church discretion.
Continuing in the Service, the Choristers delivered a song titled, “Obaluaye”, meaning, “The Ultimate GOD”
Sermon was thereafter delivered by the General Overseer, with the title, “A Plea to GOD For Grace”. In his Message, he admonished the Church never to misuse the Grace of GOD, assuring that GOD will never forsake whoever seeks Him genuinely.
The Church Secretary thereafter mounted the pulpit and read out the report for the year 2024 in English language, while the Yoruba translation was read by Mr Fatomilola
The General Announcement was made by the Assistant Church Secretary, Engineer Odunayo Ayiloge, after which the Service was brought to a close with Closing Prayer and Benediction, said by the General Overseer around 1pm.
